This website and blog is a platform to openly discuss and share ideas and examples of God’s hand in American and world history, Christian Biblical principles of liberty and freedom, the American Covenant, and the spiritual influences behind history. Information on this website listed under various subject headings is presented from a Christian Biblical perspective and worldview. God’s hand in history was a well-accepted truth that was understood in earlier generations, and confirmed by many of the Founding Fathers and patriots of the United States.
American historian Charles Carleton Coffin (1823-1896) wrote on the country’s founding era noted. “You will notice that while the oppressors have carried out their plans and had things their own way, there were other forces silently at work which in time undermined their plans – as if a Divine hand were directing the counter-plan. Whoever peruses the story of liberty without recognizing this feature will fail of fully comprehending the meaning of history. There must be a meaning to history or else existence is an incomprehensible enigma.”
Without God history is an incomprehensible enigma. Today across the country, there is an unsettling feeling that something is wrong, very wrong. We have allowed God to be pushed out of our schools, government, the public square, and for some, He’s been pushed out of our very lives. But now some worry that perhaps we are no longer under God’s covenantal protection, or worse, that we are a nation abandoned by God.
But in today’s humanist secular society God and His divine hand in history is hidden knowledge, virtually banned from any public discussion. Knowledge and wisdom that is deliberately not taught in public schools, because it is directly at odds with the often evil political narrative promoted by the majority of the liberal news and social media platforms. It is time to put aside the political correctness, cancel culture, and political name-calling to have an open and honest discussion on the things that really do matter both in this life and the eternal one.
