Author David A. Fisher wrote that “The first basic truth is that God is in control of history. … He exercises His will through divine superintendence or by divine intervention. … Another foundational truth is that God has a plan for history. History is providential, not accidental.” Today we are witnessing God’s divine hand in the 2020 presidential elections. Who could have predicted Joe Biden’s son Hunter laptop and exposure of Joe’s apparent involvement in a family money making scheme connected to China, Russia, Iran and other sworn enemies of the United States? The odd timing of Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s death and Amy Coney Barrett being sworn in as the new justice on the supreme court just before the election. Now in a number of key Democratically controlled battle ground states massive voter fraud is being exposed. Over these past four years evil doers and their hypocrisy has been exposed in each of the Seven Mountains of spiritual influence in society as one odd set of circumstances after another plays out. Which may lead to Donald Trump’s being inaugurated to a second term as president.
Political biases aside (if that is even possible), Donald Trump has been the most Constitutional, the most prolife, pro liberty and advocate for religious liberty, the most praying president we have seen on our lifetime.
But what if this election, in addition to who will become the next president, was a referendum on the future spiritual direction of the United States of America? What if it was your declaration to God that you are either with Him for good and His moral laws, or that you reject Him and were choosing evil? (He who is not with me is against me … Matthew 12:30.) We have free will to choose good or evil, therefore our choices are moral and come with consequences.
We do not have a “political divide” in the United States today we have a “spiritual divide”. It is not about Donald Trump it but about the spiritual condition of the people, Biblically speaking the children of light Vs. the children of darkness (children of the lie). Many don’t want there to be a God because they reject moral absolutes or limits while others actively rebel against Gods’ Laws because they have chosen evil. From a Biblical and moral perspective there are stark differences between the Democratic and Republican platforms. Whether it be on the issue of abortion, religious liberty, Judeo-Christian values, education and educational choice, liberty, free market, and medical choice they are complete polar opposites. The Democratic party platform can be summarized as we are the party that is against what God stands for. It appears that in this election cycle God was forcing each of us into a make spiritual and moral choice, not just about the spiritual direction of the country, but on where we stand with God.
Which leads me to the topic of the referendum on the spiritual direction of the Unites States of America. In May of 2016 God shared with Chuck Pierce the following prophetic message. “The lord told me Donald Trump would become be President.” (This same message was given to other religious as well.) God also shared with Chuck the parable of the barren fig tree which he understood was a reference to the spiritual condition of United States of America.
A man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came seeking fruit on it and found none. And he said to the vinedresser, ‘Lo, these three years I have come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and I find none. Cut it down; why should it use up the ground?’ And he answered him, ‘Let it alone, sir, this year also, till I dig about it and put on manure. And if it bears fruit next year, well and good; but if not, you can cut it down.’” [Luke 13:6-9 RSV]
The season referenced appears to be the presidential term of four years (a season). So from 2016 to 2020 in God’s view, did the citizens and country States bear good fruit or should the tree be cut down? The country has broken the covenant signed by our country’s forefathers. There are other offences the country has committed against the Moral Law. God hates hands that “shed innocent blood.” Since the Supreme Court Roe v. Wade decision [1973] there have been over 60,000,000+ babies killed due abortion. Never doubt God has heard the screams of these babies being killed and at some point will act. It has now been a season so did the tree bear good fruit, or should it be cut down? Since man has free will perhaps with the 2020 election the people will decide their fate by their vote if the country (the tree) should continue or be cut down.
If God’s judgment is based on “legally” cast ballots then Donald Trump (and righteousness) have won both the popular and electoral vote count and through grace may lead to a Third Great Spiritual Awakening. However if evil and election fraud reigns over truth and justice then the fate of the United States has been decided and the country will be headed to the dust bin of history. As the country’s future hangs in the balance, our future will be as it always has been which is in the hands of God.
